Join us this year as we present Dinner & The Arts:  Frankfort Arts & Community Engagement.  Be involved in The Arts.  Be involved in Life.  We encourage you to be involved and enjoy the Frankfort Arts Foundation’s thirty-fifth year of presenting the performing, visual, and literary arts in our community.  This year we have incorporated the culinary arts to complement our season theme, as well.

Buy a season ticket (patron, family, adult, senior, or student/child) this year, and you will receive 20% off a meal of fine dining, on the day of the event, in participating Frankfort area restaurants.  This is a great way for your family and friends to enjoy a dinner and a show.  Whether it is the ballet, a band or vocal performance, or haute cuisine dining experience, the “live arts” are fun, entertaining, inspiring, and educational experiences for all of us to enjoy in our community.  The Frankfort Arts Foundation season series offers your family and you a variety of great performances for a low, reasonable price.  Combined with the engagement of Frankfort community’s excellent restaurants which are supporting the arts with a 20% discount for dinners on the day of the event, you have the best way “to be involved in the arts and to be involved in community life.”

Friends like you make it possible for the Frankfort Arts Foundation to continue its community legacy of providing the highest quality of arts, cultural, and educational programming.  It is through our continued and time-honored partnership with the region’s distinguished university, Kentucky State University, that this season is made possible for you, the community.  Our partnerships and support from the City of Frankfort, Franklin County Fiscal Court, Franklin County Trust for Historic Preservation, Kentucky State University HPER Majors’ Club, Frankfort Area Chamber of Commerce, Frankfort/ Franklin County Tourist & Convention Commission, Downtown Frankfort, Capital Plaza Hotel, Kentucky Book Fair, The Links, and other partnerships, with technical and grant support from the Kentucky Arts Council, and our community’s fine restaurants, prominent banks, businesses, and industry, along with area schools, non-profit organizations, community artists and musicians, and friends, and, most certainly, you, the arts patrons and supporters, make it possible to bring this exceptional season of arts events to you.

The arts are the building blocks of our society, and they are most precious to all of us – personal and corporate - in the community. engaged, be involved in the arts and the life in our community.  It is a recipe for success for all of us.

On behalf of the Board of Directors and Patricia Terry Vansant, Executive Director, I heartily encourage you to participate in our arts and entertainment season series this year, as well as, the full range of arts events in our community.
